What: November is Shop Local First Month. This weekend, challenge yourself to live local – eat, shop and dine at Edmonton’s best local establishments. For shopping inspiration, see this week’s Style Dossier for some great sales and happenings on the local style scene.
Why: Living local matters. Not only does it strengthen our local economy, but you’ll feel instantly more connected to the community.

Plunging Fashion
Off the Deep End: Art Exhibition & Fashion Show

What: For one night only, the Scona Pool will be transformed into an exhibit for high fashion and art – all inspired underwater in the pool itself.
Why: The event is a collaborative effort between Parlour Magazine and Save Scona Pool Action Team. Need convincing it will be a stunning display, read this article in the Edmonton Journal or visit Caroline in the City blog.
Where: Scona Pool (10450 72 Avenue NW), Admission is free.
When: Saturday, Nov 6 from 6-10pm. Fashion show from 8:30 – 9pm.
