Holiday music plays in the winter air. Lights dance in the trees. Sleigh rides. Mailbox direct to Santa. All on Candy Cane Lane.
It began 35 years ago with a small group of Crestwood residents. Today, the Christmas spirit spreads more than 10 city blocks of decorated homes. There’s no commercial or government sponsorship. Simply a dedicated group residents and volunteers. That’s a lot of holiday cheer.
When darkness falls, head to Candy Cane Lane for some magic. The best way to take in the sights is by walking or sleigh rides . Candy Cane Lane stretches along 148th Street, starting at 100th Avenue (map).
The lights stay lit until midnight on January 2.
