Summer Block Party
What: A street bash dedicated to the best of fashion, wine, food, music and urban atmosphere. Head to the party to enjoy the Portuguese BBQ, crostini bar by Red Star’s Daniel Costa, deVine’s wine tasting, a city yoga demonstration, two stages, and licensed patios sprawling onto the street.
Why: Last year it was so packed with fabulous people, the restaurants ran out of food and creatively began inventing new delicious dishes on the fly.
Even Better: The night completes with a screening of ‘Chocolat’ with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. Set up your chair beneath the stars in the parking lots between 29 Armstrong and the Saddlery building. Munch on Kerstin’s chocolate and free pop and popcorn from Sobeys
