Heads up Foodies: The deliciousness of Fork Fest is here!
Edmonton’s independent restaurants are offering tasty original fare at set prices of $25 or $45 for a multi-course affair. The menu offerings are incredible.
My pick for a summer night for the gals – Sabor Divino’s $25 Menu – a glass of sangria, three daily tapas and your choice of a house taster dessert.
For a dinner out with The Legend, I'd opt for The Blue Pear. The $45 Fork Fest menu has me convinced with the appetizer (Braised Baby Beets, Anjou pear, Goat Cheese Coulis & Candied Walnuts) and dessert (fresh figs with parmesan cheese ice-cream, feuilles de brick & balsamic glaze).
Fork Fest is about trying new places and at the top of my list is Cafe Haven in Sherwood Park. It's two can dine for $25 with warm hummus and melted-goat cheese, following by a wrap or sandwhich. And, I do love a cupcake for dessert.
