Music Celebration - Edmonton Folk Music Festival

It's no surprise the Edmonton Folk Music Festival is sold out.  It has all the key ingredients - quality performers, outstanding music, passionate volunteers, and a beautiful backdrop - the city of Edmonton.

This weekend, crowds will gather to sit on the hill and listen to talented musicians - 65 artists providing about 129 hours of performance. Bring a comfortable seat, a blanket and a candle to light when the sun goes down. The joyful good times continue in the Big Rock Brewery beer gardens.

The festival is about showcasing the best celtic, bluegrass, blues, gospel, roots and singer/songwriters from around the globe with a commitment to 50% Canadian content.  The mainstage line-up and sessions are a balance of familiar artists and ones you’ve never heard of - talented musicians on the brink of something great. You’ll be on an iTunes hunt to download the albums.
