Put a Kettle On - Teaopia

September arrived with blustery chilly air. The summer months are officially behind us – and all I can think about is a strategy for staying warm for the next eight months. Characteristically, my go-to warm me up drink is coffee. This year, I’d like tea to be my cup of tea.

Why tea? Loose-leaf tea is beautiful. It smells divine. And, it’s a whole world to explore in a cup.  Each region shares a different flavour on the backdrop of a black, green, oolong, white, rooibos, herbal, or mate variety.

Lucky for me, Edmonton is suddenly steeped in charming tea boutiques. DavidsTea opened in West Edmonton Mall and Southgate, and Kingsway Mall boosts the first Teaopia in Edmonton.

Overwhelmed by a selection of over hundred loose leaf teas, I settled on the sampler kit from Teaopia featuring Tangerine Dream, Cactus Fig, Pomegranate Green, Mate Sweet Energy, Masala Chai, and wellness blends – Fit Active and Slim and Slender.

Sound lovely? You better put your kettle on.
