Drinkin' for a Cause
A Taste of Old Strathcona
What: A sampling of old Strathcona cuisine, silent auction and entertainment.
Why: You can eat, drink, shop, and be entertained with this eclectic community while raising money for the Old Strathcona Foundation.
When: Friday, Sept 24 from 7-10pm

Name Dropping
104th Street at City Market
What: 104th Street will unveil the winning entry in the ‘Name the Street Contest’. The new name has been transformed into a new logo designed by Ryan Mayer who happens to live in the Philip Lofts on 104th Street.
Why: Be there for a big moment! Re-branding 104th Street is a very exciting step in the revitalization of downtown Edmonton.

Fun LEGO® Science
Wheels Wings and Waves: A LEGO®  World of Transportation Exhibition
What: An exhibit all about transportation on the ground, in the air and on the water all rendered in LEGO® .
Why: No one really grows out of playing with LEGO®! And you’ll finally have your chance to shine with the Ultimate Motion Building Challenge. Get out your LEGO®  bricks to create your own transportation theme to win great prizes.

All Over Town
Free Admission Day
What: Edmontonians are invited to try out select City of Edmonton recreation facilities and attractions on Free Admission Day.
Why: The ‘free’ list includes Fort Edmonton Park, City Arts Centre, Muttart Conservatory, the Valley Zoo, Kinsmen Sports Centre and so many more! (see complete list)
