2011 Winter Fork Fest

Heads up Foodies: The deliciousness of Fork Fest is here!

Edmonton’s independent restaurants are offering tasty original fare at set prices of $25 or $45 for a multi-course affair. 

The menu offerings are incredible. Take Sabor Divino’s $45 menu – lamb and spinach salad, magret de carnard and  your choice of a house dessert. Skinny Legs & Cowgirls will warm you up with a potage duburry soup, lamb shank with smoked vanilla mashed potato and a dark chocolate pate with fleur de sel and raspberry coulis. For a dinner date, opt for The Red Ox Inn. For the $45 menu, you can choose any three courses from the current menu.

The $25 menus are just as mouthwatering. At Blue Plate Diner enjoy baked-herb goat cheese served with dried apricots and pumpernickel bread followed by an entrée of a roasted squash strudel.

Great food being served at local restaurants is pure culinary fulfillment.
