Stayed in bed late this morning (almost 9am!). Last night, we had a small dinner party with close friends and drank whiskey cocktails and wine late into the night. For dinner, I made my first leg of lamb (the folks at Acme Meat Market were insanely helpfully) and used Daniel Costa’s recipe for ricotta gnocchi served with a brown butter and sage sauce (find the recipe in the latest issue of The Tomato). Tonight, I can’t wait to be transported into the magical world of Alberta Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Hope your weekend is full of holiday cheer.
