Inside one of Edmonton’s most iconic structures, the Muttart Conservatory, food lovers are celebrating the opening of café Culina Muttart.
Known for its partnerships with local producers, Culina Muttart dishes creative comfort food with star local ingredients like Sylvan Star gouda and Gull Valley tomatoes.
The menu features homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and fresh baked pastries. On the weekends, Culina’s famous brunch is served – Ukrainian breakfast (perogies, sausage and cabbage rolls), frittata (goats’ cheese, spinach and tomato chutney) or try the classic eggs Benny.
On the sandwich menu: roasted Spring Creek Ranch beef (smoked cheddar sauce, sautéed cabbage, Portuguese bun), vegetable Panini (sautéed cabbage, spinach, grilled zucchini, hummus, yogurt cheese, Persian flatbread), or try the roasted Lacombe Heritage pork (pickled onions, Sylvan Star gouda, Portuguese bun)
Top it all off with a decadent lemon tart with berries & cream by the Queen of Tarts or flourless chocolate cake with cream.
Also known as heaven.
