Wave Your Red & White in Sherwood Park

Ah, Canada Day, you have finally arrived!

This wonderful day of the year is cherished not only for bringing with it a day off from work and most other professional responsibilities, but also for the valued time spent with friends and family.  Whether your Canada Day plans have you lounging lazily in bed, lunching on a patio with loved ones, enjoying a party with food and drink, participating in community activities, or simply watching traditional fireworks, chances are July 1 is one of your favorite days of the year.

This year, communities across Alberta will once again demonstrate fantastic Canadian spirit by offering hometown residents and visitors a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.  Strathcona County will be no different, as Broadmoor Lake Park plays host to thousands at its annual Canada Day Festival.
