It may only be Wednesday but that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning your weekend. Two days, two different opportunities to check out some great beer and learn more about them.
On Saturday, September 17, Little Guy Liquor is teaming up with Sherwood Park A.C.T. to host the Autumn Harvest Tasting Experience from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Log Cabin (50 Spruce Avenue) in Sherwood Park. The event, in support of the Strathcona County Boys and Girls Club, will offer up a great variety of unique ales, spirits, and wine for the tasting along with food from Bullseye Bar and Grill and delicious treats from Hey Cupcake! Tickets for the event are $10 and are available at Little Guy Liquor.
On Sunday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m., Wunderbar is hosting its first edition of Beer University. There’s no tuition or pricey books to worry about but you will have the opportunity to expand your mind and your palate when it comes to the world of craft beer. Participants will sample a number of different beers and learn about what goes into each style of beer and what makes them unique. Contact Wunderbar for more info.
