What the Truck?
What: A celebration of Edmonton’s food trucks! Eats by Eva Sweet (liege waffles), Molly’s Eats (tacos, provoleta grilled cheese sandwiches), Carnival Cravings (cotton candy, mini donuts, pretzels), Fat Franks (hot dogs, smokies), Filistix (pulled pork, green onion cake), Drift (gourmet sandwiches), Funky Pickle (pizza), Nomad (molasses chilled tea) and The Lingnam (spring rolls, kung pao chicken, dry spicy chicken).
Why: Get your food before it rolls away.

Capital Theatre Grand Opening
What: The opening soiree for the re-created Capital Theatre. Enjoy a 4-dimensional, multi-media experience called Northern Light – a short film that recounts Edmonton’s history.

Community League Day
What: Communities step up to host BBQs, petting zoos, art festivals, beer gardens, pancake breakfasts and more.

What: Free corn-on-the-cob and popcorn popped with a little salsa music and dancing.
