Edmonton’s NextGen takes over as the host of the Metropolis winter culture Festival.
On the agenda this weekend:
Friday: Best of Pecha Kucha
Saturday: ME/AT 1.5: Local creatives and new philanthropists come together for an evening of short proposals and a meal. At the end of a meal, one proposal receives a pot of funds to move ideas into action. (Register in advance).
Sunday: Explore your creative side with a break dance or spinning jam, improv performance or build a snow sculpture with your team (register here)

Hogwarts in Edmonton
Harry Potter Day: Science, Magic and Medicine
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry arrives at the University of Alberta.
A full day of fun-filled study of potions, care of magical creatures, muggle studies, owlery and defense against the dark arts. (It’s designed for kids 7-12 years old, but adult tickets are available too!)
