sweat :: Breathe Deep at Yoga Central

Life moves pretty fast. Yoga is the slow down needed to tune into your body’s needs.

There are so many yoga studios in our city. Finding the right place for mind-clearing and body realignment can be challenging.

Yoga Central is a breath of fresh air: it’s bright and welcoming with more of a community-centre feel than a pretentious yoga studio. At Yoga Central, the studios are small and cozy with class sizes to match. The mirror-less rooms remind you to focus on deep breathing and movement through poses.

Classes here range from hot flow to hatha yoga to meditation. A few unique offerings include the post-workout stretch, yoga for kids and beginners’ classes where the basics are explained. Whether you like it hot or not, there is a class for you.

Stop in to give your mind and body the gift of yoga. During the month of November, the studio is offering two-free classes a week (check out the schedule).

(Big thanks to Yoga Centre for inviting me to attend a couple of classes! It was great to arrive at a yoga studio with a distinctively inviting atmosphere.)

If you have a class that Kendall should try, send her an email.
