BIG, big news for Edmonton fashion designers! Mercedes-Benz Start-Up is a national program to nurture Canada’s next generation of fashion designers. They are scouting designers in Edmonton. Up for grabs is the opportunity to show their collections as part of the official schedule of World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto. Plus, the winner will receive an editorial spread in FASHION, mentorship from industry experts and huge media exposure. Designers are encouraged to apply (by March 16!) for the opportunity to attend the semi-final event. For designers in Western Canada, the event takes place right here in E-D-M-O-N-T-O-N on April 16 & 17. An incredible opportunity for Edmonton to flaunt its designer talents.
In case you missed the announcement: J. Crew will be opening at West Edmonton Mall (this spring!) The 5,657-square-foot store will be located on level two between Banana Republic and H&M.
