Local ingredients, hands-on classes, tasting sessions and panel discussions featuring foodie experts, make for a very cool one-day food conference.
Back for its second year, Eat Alberta brings together leaders in our food community – farmers, chefs and local food advocates – with food keeners just like you! Get your tastebuds ready for a honey tasting; or an Alberta cheese tasting; or perhaps you’d prefer to sample local beers and fruit wines. In between the tastings, attend hands-on workshops to make pasta, macarons, sausages or artisan cheese. Sharpen your kitchen skill with a hands-on knife sills workshop or learn to forage for mushrooms in Alberta. Don’t miss the afternoon panel discussion on ‘How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse'. At the end of the day, take a glass of wine down at Fresh Express.
If you love food; you must attend Eat Alberta. (we went last year and loved it)
