Just because St.Patrick’s Day is over, doesn’t mean you should stop eating, and drinking, green! Broccoli, spinach, granny smith apples…. some of the best-for-you foods are green.
A great way to sneak in a serving of greens is blending them into a smoothie. Kale, spinach and swiss chard are all blend-able options, but if you’ve never tried a green smoothie before, start with spinach (the flavor is so mild, you really don’t taste it).
Try this basic recipe and then experiment with your favorite smoothie ingredients.
