go :: The Sherwood Park Music Festival

Another fantastic, family-friendly event is being held this week in Sherwood Park. From April 16 to April 20, the Sherwood Park Music Festival will provide amateur musicians the opportunity to perform, compete for scholarships, collaborate with other musicians, and be adjudicated by national and international judges.

Venues like Festival Place, Strathcona County Council Chambers, and St. Thomas Anglican Church will serve as inspiring backdrops for more than 700 talented contestants of all ages who will perform during the week-long event. After competing all week, the festivities will wrap up on Sunday with a Grand Concert that will showcase the winning musicians.

Tickets for the weekly performances are $5 per day or $10 for the week for attendees over the age of 18. Attendees under the age of 18 are free. Tickets for the Grand Concert are sold separately at $10 per person.
