Attention live music lovers! Allow me to introduce you to Cafe Haven. Usually coffee shops have music in the background. On Monday and Thursday nights, Cafe Haven is turning into a live music venue with some coffee in the background (along with beer and wine).

They are hosting two shows per week all summer long of singer/songwriter, alt folk, and (some) rock music.

What: Live at Cafe Haven - intimate live music in a cozy coffee shop
Who: Mostly local artists with some touring acts in the mix
Where: Cafe Haven in Sherwood Park - 9 Sioux Road
When: Every Monday and Thursday night (7pm), all summer long! The occasional can't-be-missed artist will be scheduled on other weekdays
Tickets: Most of the shows are free! Some shows will require a tiny cover charge

The organizers of these events are enticing artists with their side project at the shows. Local filmmaker Zach Burford creates a professional video of their Cafe Haven performances, allowing the artists to use it for self promotion. You can see some of the previous Live at Cafe Haven acts here, and read more about their Make Something Edmonton project here.
