Nerd Nite at the Fringe is a free night of nerdy and drinks. Learn the history of nerd nite, then get right into three presentations from experts in their field. It's Thursday night at 8pm at ATB Financial Arts Barns. 

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival celebrates 50 years of James Bond with From Fringe with Love. The fun runs until August 25th around Old Strathcona. Check the schedule to choose from 219 productions, secure your tickets, and read their guide for how to fringe before you go.  

Join a guided 12km bike ride through the river valley called Tour Des Trees celebrating our urban forest. Learn the history and our relationship to the trees, and plant one of your own at the end. Meet at Muttart Conservatory at 11am on Sunday. 

Alberta Open Farm Days is a province wide open house for everyone to learn about the important role our agriculture industry plays in the province. In Edmonton, come down to Churchill Square for a farm in the middle of the city. Experience an Alberta farm and learn where your food comes from. It kicks off with farm-to-table culinary events, and you can make your own way to farms in the area. Check their website for more details.

Louise McKinney Riverfront Park is taken over by food trucks and buskers for What The Truck?! on Saturday from 5-9pm. Read the menus for all ten food trucks before you go!
