Don't forget we have indoor farmers markets - City Market (in City Hall for the Winter) or Old Strathcona Farmers Market. City Market was recently recognized by Andrew Evans of National Geographic Traveler as the best farmers market in the world! 

Nerd Nite #10 is at the Citadel on Thursday night. The talks this time are about demon possession, soil, and how outsiders make design better. Tickets can be found here or at the door. 

The Irrelevant Show on CBC's Radio one is hilarious to listen to, but even funnier to see recorded live. Make your way to Festival Place (Sherwood Park) on Friday night to see it. Tickets and more info here

Muttart Conservatory is hosting the Lunar New Year Pyramid Opening. Celebrate the beginning of the year of the horse and check out their new pyramid display celebrating this traditional Eastern holiday. Saturday, 12-6pm.

Deep Freeze Fest - A Byzantine Winter Festival is in it's 7th year! Join the winter city fun on Saturday and Sunday including art installations, authentic cultural winter games, and a deep freeze race!
