It's the final days of Western Canada Fashion Week.  Scout out your new favourite designers, hairstylists, and makeup artists from right here in Edmonton. Shows run every day until Saturday. Mark your calendar for the sample sale on Saturday. Check the schedule and learn more here.

The Edmonton International Film Festival will make Empire City Centre Theatres home until next Saturday. 170 films in 10 days means something for everyone. If you're working downtown, take in one of the 45 Minute Lunchbox Short (includes Subway lunch). There are galas, parties, special guests, and of course many, many films. Check the schedule and buy tickets while you can.

Alberta Culture Days celebrates art and culture in the province by opening art galleries, museums, and cultural centres. The fun kicks off with a block party on 104 Street & Jasper Ave on Friday night with music, a street market, and extended patios along the street.
