The Good Hundred Experiment
What happens when a diverse group of 100 Edmonton do-gooders get together for a weekend? Spend a couple days with other movers and shakers in the field of arts, activism, business, government, non-profit and more. Not sure if it's for you? Take a look at the list of confirmed attendees to see who you can be rubbing elbows with. There is also a party open for everyone to attend.

PARK Edmonton Artist & Designer Forum
Bringing together artists, designers, and business owners for two days of sessions and workshops. Sessions include art and fashion topics, as well as broader insights into marketing, branding and business planning. You're familiar with one of the speakers... (cough, Kendall, cough)

Every spring the LogiCON team gets Edmonton's best and brightest scientific minds in a room to share the love for their scientific work with you. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand what these speakers are talking about. It's open to everyone with inquiring minds.

For Certain: Uncertainty will showcase perspectives on the power of uncertainty to motivate, inspire, cripple and surprise. TEDx will be another insightful and inspirational gathering of people in a place that is ripe for idea-spreading (Royal Alberta Museum)

Nerd Nite #14
The last Nerd Nite of the season looks like it will be a good one. It's basically three interesting talks by experts (from watch collectors and body builders to NASA medical researchers and renowned physicists) plus beer. Read up on next month's interesting speakers. Tickets for Nerd Nites always sell out fast, so buy yours right away.
